Supermodel Kendall Jenner's connection with infrared spas dates back to November 2018, when she turned 23 — her sisters gifted her a home infrared spa. She shared this in a Vogue interview, adding that she had recently become hooked on LED light therapy and planned to put the spa in her own backyard. Since then, according to media reports, infrared spa sessions have become a fixed part of her daily wellness routine: she uses an infrared spa after high-intensity training to help with detox and stress relief, paired with lymphatic massage, and before shoots or red carpet appearances she also turns to an infrared spa for skincare and de-puffing. Her home "wellness room" is likewise equipped with a hyperbaric chamber and a red light therapy bed.

In October 2025, she debuted as the first beauty-line collaborator of a tech wellness brand, fronting an LED light therapy mask that combines red light, infrared light, blue light and vibration technology — extending infrared technology into everyday skincare.

Pop icon Lady Gaga has long suffered from chronic pain, and infrared SPA is central to her pain management. After early-tour surgery for a torn hip labrum, she developed bone inflammation, and in 2017 revealed her fibromyalgia diagnosis — chronic widespread pain and muscle spasms requiring lifelong symptom management. She uses a home infrared SPA device daily, turning to it first when spasms strike, and pairs it with contrast therapy (ice-cold baths or ice packs right after), plus warming blankets and bath-salt soaks.

Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey's connection with infrared spas dates back to March 2019 — in a podcast interview he revealed that he had purchased an infrared spa device and kept it in his garage, using it for about 30 minutes to an hour each session. Although the temperature only reached around 52°C, his core body temperature rose quickly and he sweated far more than in a dry sauna. Since then, infrared spa sessions have become a fixed part of his daily wellness routine, regularly alternated with ice baths: in the morning he does an infrared spa session followed by an ice bath, and he also follows an extreme cycle — spending 15 minutes in a traditional barrel spa at around 104°C, then plunging into an ice bath at about 3°C for 3 minutes, repeated three times. According to media reports, the device he uses is a portable one heated by multiple infrared bulbs and enclosed in a cage-like protective shield; he says it leaves him feeling "cleaner" and "more energetic". In 2023, he purchased another low-EMF portable infrared spa tent, used for detoxification, promoting cellular regeneration, and preventing injuries, illness and aging, and noted that he uses the infrared spa for most of the week (sweating more at lower temperatures), saving the traditional barrel spa for relaxation.
